At the end of 2012, KPC operates approximately 90,938 hectares of coal mining concessions in Sangatta and Bengalon of East Kutai Regency East Kalimantan. The Company produces 3 coal grades under the brands of Prima (high grade coal), Pinang (medium grade coal), and Melawan (low grade coal). PT Kaltim Prima Coal is a subsidiary company of PT Bumi Resources Tbk, the fastest growing coal mining company in Asia and the second fastest growing coal company in the world. In October 2003, PT Bumi Resources Tbk acquired 100% shares of PT Kaltim Prima Coal. KPC reached significant performance in 2013. PT Kaltim Prima Coal was able to Total coal production at the Sangatta and Bengalon coal mines by 29.5% from 41.3 million tonnes in 2012 to 53,5 million tonnes in 2013.

Requirements:
- Hold an S1/S2 degree majoring in Civil, Hydro Civil, Water Resources Engineering from reputable university.
- Not older than 25 years (for S1) or 28 years (for S2) of age in the year of admittance.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 grade scale (for S1) or 3.25 on a 4.00 grade scale (for S2).
- Good communication skill in English both of oral and business writing, at least intermediate level.
