SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (Flow Assurance Specialist)

- Perform relief valve and overall relief system capacity verification calculations pursuant to API 520 and client engineering standards;
- Permanent member of a special project being established to evaluation Company relief systems (PSVs, flare systems, etc.);
- Prepare and complete development of related discipline engineering deliverables;
- Work closely with Company user(s) during review sessions of deliverables.
- Development of HMB tables for relief systems.
Qualification of Personnel:
- Minimum education is to possess an engineering degree (S1) or equivalent;
- The candidate shall have minimum 3 years working experience in related engineering discipline works for oil & gas or petrochemical handling projects and/or facilities;
- The candidate shall have adequate knowledge on respective engineering discipline and capable to utilize with related baseline software and codes/standards.
- Demonstrated expertise using HYSYS simulation and FLARENET software.
SENIOR PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER
Work Location: Jakarta
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete process safety engineering design, coordinate Contractor’s activities in development of process safety engineering deliverables.
- Provide technical consultation for Facility construction and commissioning, if it’s required to support Company’s related projects.
- Work closely with Company’s user(s) during review sessions of deliverables.
- Provide mentoring on related process safety engineering aspects to Contractor’s Process Safety Engineers to enhance their competency.
Primary objective:
- To provide risk management and Loss Prevention services to the various Rekind WorleyParsons Safety & Risk Management for PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia.
- To be responsible to the performance of projects assigned to both in terms of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project.
- To promote RekindWorleyParsons Safety & Risk Management to client.
- To provide services of technical nature in meeting project requirements.
Specific accountabilities:
- To identify the safety engineering scope of work from basis of design.
- To be able to determine and estimate norms/schedule to conduct the scope of work.
- To be able to raise a suite of project deliverables including procedures, design basis and HES Plan & Schedules of activities
- Knowledge of HAZOP workshops, Fire & Explosion Analysis, Fire Protection related studies and Formal Safety assessments.
- Design Safety reviews/Studies, Layout, EERA, ESSA, F&G, Dropped Object, Hazardous Area, QRA, Radiation / Dispersion Analysis, Facility Siting Study.
- Active Fire Protection Design.
- Passive Fire Protection Design.
- CTR Management & progress reporting.
- Quality Assurance- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Safety & Risk Department.

- Minimum education is to possess an engineering degree (S1) or equivalent.
- The candidate shall have minimum 8 years working experience in process safety engineering works for oil & gas or petrochemical handling projects and/or facilities, with minimum 3 years of which at senior safety engineer position.
- The candidate shall have thorough knowledge on process safety engineering and be proficient with related safety software (DNV PHAST, FLARESIM, PIPENET etc) and codes/standards.
- Has experience in Risk work (QRA, FERA, etc)
- Has experience in Phast consequence modelling
- The candidate shall have high mentoring & coaching skills.
SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (Flow Assurance Specialist)
Work Location: Jakarta
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out flow assurance studies from conceptual to pre-feed/FEED/DED stages.
- Provide assistance or supervise flow assurance studies in the frame of basic or detailed engineering.
- Define multiphase transportation network and receiving facilities to mitigate flow assurance risks such as flow instabilities, slug control, prevention of solid deposits (hydrates, wax, scaling, gel strength determination, chemical injection requirement etc).
- Lead the implementation of project work at the terminal and interface with the Integrity. Will willingly take on challenging and sometimes uncomfortable and uncertain tasks and use the strength of conviction to persuade others and get the job done.
Qualification of Personnel:
- Minimum education is to possess an engineering degree (S1) or equivalent, could be from Petroleum or Chemical Engineering background.
- The candidate shall have minimum 8 years working engineering experience as a Process Engineer or Flow Assurance Engineer for oil & gas or petrochemical companies with a minimum 3 years in a supervisory position.
- The candidate shall have thorough knowledge on Flow Assurance engineering and modelling and be proficient with related flow assurance software (PIPESIM, OLGA including all modules, PVTSim including all modules, HYSYS, Aspen) and codes/standards.
- Has experience in crude oil characterization, wax modeling and prediction of wax deposition along the pipeline including fine tuning with laboratory test data
- Has experience in interpreting laboratory test data and incorporating into the modelling
- Has experience in gel strength prediction
- Has strong knowledge to recommend mitigation plan to overcome wax and gel strength issues, pigging frequency determination and chemical management plan
- Good organizational skills needed along with proficiency in problem solving
- Ability to write professional technical reports including flow assurance and prepare effective presentations required
- Must have the ability to interact with other team members effectively Professional Engineering License is a plus
- The candidate shall be a self-starter and sufficiently proficient with the identified software to be able to work unsupervised for significant lengths of time
